7 Deadly Wines are proud to be sourced from the acclaimed Lodi AVA. Located in California’s Central Valley, the mineral-rich, free-draining and sandy clay soil foster the growth and production of award-winning 7 Deadly Wines. Aside from producing high quality Zinfandel grapes, the warm days and cool nights of this Mediterranean-like climate are ideal for also producing a large quantity of Merlot, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc.
Among the most rigorous and comprehensive sustainable winemaking programs in the country is The Lodi Rules™ Certification. The 7 Deadly® portfolio is proud to bear this certification based on grower farming practices that benefit the environment, community and local economy.
Launched in 2005, Lodi Rules™ was California’s first 3rd party-certified sustainable winegrowing certification program. By 2014, over 20,000 acres were “Certified Green” in the Lodi appellation.
7 Deadly is honored to be one of the limited number of wines to don the
